We need volunteers!
The Head Start-Early Head Start program receives the majority of it’s operational funds from the federal government. The federal government requires that Head Start-Early Head Start programs collect “in-kind” donations. Volunteer time is a way for Head Start-Early Head Start programs to collect “in-kind”. Along with the need for collecting “in-kind”, volunteers make a difference in the lives of children in our community.
Interested in volunteering at Head Start?
All volunteers must be at least 14 and be willing to volunteer in a classroom setting with young children and teaching staff. Volunteer opportunities are available in classrooms in Anoka and Washington counties. To learn more please contact Kristi E.
