Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) works with parents, child care providers, businesses, and community organizations to help promote the availability and affordability of quality child care services in the area.
We provide parents with child care referrals, training, workshops, and information on evaluating affordable, quality child care, plus resources on various parenting issues.
Child Care Providers will benefit from our referral service and trained counselors, along with valuable training and support services for new or established programs.

Grants
Grants are available to licensed child care providers in Anoka County. Informational Workshops to assist providers/programs in filling out their grant application are offered.
You can download either form (located below in PDF format) now and get started writing your requests.
Grants will be posted as they become available.

Education and Training
Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) offers classes of interest to parents, child care providers, school age care providers and others who work with children. Workshops are available in Child Development, Family Issues, Special Needs, Environments for Children, Violence Prevention and Peacemaking, Health and Safety and Cultural Diversity.
CCR&R also offers workshops in each of the statewide training initiatives: The Infant Toddler Training Intensive, Project Exceptional, and the Cultural Dynamics Education Project. You may register for classes electronically or by mail. Because we are a member site of the Minnesota Child Care Resource and Referral (MN CCR&R) Network, we can offer our 'CAREQUEST' service.
What is CareQuest?
CareQuest works with local companies on behalf of the Minnesota Child Care Resource & Referral (MN CCR&R) Network. The Network consists of 23 regional agencies who assist parents in finding appropiate child care and support the local supply and quality of care through recruitment, training and grants administration for providers.
How does CareQuest benefit the Employer?
CareQuest saves employers money in lost production time due to unexpected employee absence relating to dependent care issues.

CareQuest saves families time by providing customized information about child care programs tailored to specific needs.
- Comprehensive database with 95% of all licensed child care programs in Minnesota including family child care, center care, nannies, camps and special needs providers.
- Friendly phone counselors who have extensive information on child care and a state-of-the-art database.
- Same day verification of child care openings.
- State-wide access to local information through an 800 telephone number, internet site will be available in 2001.
- Supplemental information on licensing, financial assistance and program evaluation tools.

ACCAP and Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) partners with business, faith communities, and community leadership to "Link" the needs with the resources, in an effort to support families with their work-life concerns. We can provide informational articles, statistics and consultations to help assess the needs of your group or congregation.
We also offer the opportunity to come speak with your group or organization around child care issues. Brown bag lunches, meetings, or resource fairs all offer the opportunity to create public awareness for children and families.
